I had great time this summer in Bansko. The main goal of the stay was to climb the Muratov and Polezhan peaks. In addition, I wanted to relax and pamper in a pleasant place with a good SPA center for recharging the body batteries. After a short search, we turned to Apart hotel Lucky Bansko. We were kindly welcomed, with a smile and with the words “Welcome”, even before we said we had a reservation. Our apartment had two spacious and bright rooms – a bedroom and a living room – with a terrace and magnificent mountain views. There was a surprise on the coffee table – a bottle of wine, a great compliment from the hotel.

Facilities in the Lucky Bansko hotel
The rooms are nicely furnished and have everything needed for both short and longer stays. There are plenty of horizontal surfaces, cupboards and wardrobes, so you can easuly put your things in order. At the same time, the premises are wide, the furniture does not “crush”, there is air.
The bathroom accessories are a lot and very good. Besides the obligatory toiletries, the hair conditioner and the bathing cap, there is also … notice – a hair strap. Even that. A little, but comfortable.
Something very important to me – the internet connection is very fast and sustainable.
During our stay, the hotel was completely full. However, when we were in our apartment, there were no sounds from the corridor and from the adjoining rooms.
Food
Apart hotel Lucky Bansko has three restaurants. We tried 2 of them. As a matter of fact, prices are not low, but this is a luxury hotel. Still, I can say that the price: quality ratio is quite good.
Furthermore, the apartments are equipped with a kitchenette, so you can prepare something to eat. Complements are also provided – coffee, tea, water for every day of the stay.
The breakfast is extremely rich and varied – cold and warm buffet, fruit, pancakes, plenty of sweets, including vegan pastries, delicious croissants, orange and grapefruit juice, tea, coffee … – you just can not help yourself to not be tempted by well-arranged dishes with delicious things.
Breakfast time is good for both early people, and for later ones. It starts at 7:00 and ends at 10:30. Early breakfast is important not only for business people, but also for those who want to head to the mountain.
Spa center in the Apart hotel Lucky Bansko
The SPA center at Lucky Bansko apart hotel is truly impressive because of its so many services and experiences – a small pool, a large swimming pool with hydromassage area, 2 saunas, 2 steam baths, 2 infrared cabins, a contrast shower, an ice room, a cold water bucket, Jacuzzi … And all this is included in the accommodation price.
I do not think I have visited the richer spa center before. Definitely, the spa center of the Apart hotel Lucky Bansko is something that distinguishes it.

Hiking around Bansko
Apart hotel Lucky Bansko provides great opportunities for active mountain tourism. They organize mountain hikes twice a week – on Wednesdays and Saturdays, on various routes, according to the weather, free of charge for hotel guests . Your only obligation is to sign up for the hike the day before.

I really liked the stay at Apart hotel Lucky Bansko. Two major things about the hotel I would distinguish – the very rich spa center and the organized mountain trekking. Everything else was also on a five-star level. I recommend Apart hotel Lucky Bansko with pleasure. The Nameless Town is the remains of a great ancient settlement. It is located in the area of Saint Nicholas between the towns of Bansko and Dobrinishte. The path to the Nameless Town starts from the old black road between the two towns.
To Popovo Lake
Popovo Lake is the largest and the deepest one in Pirin Mountains. The route to the lake starts at Bezbog hut, which is reached by a lift from Dobrinishte. Walking from the hut to the lake is about 1 hour.
To Muratovo Lake
The route starts from Vihren hut and follows the blue and yellow markings. Walking to Muratovo Lake takes about an hour. You can reach the Vihren hut by car, but keep in mind that the road is closed during the weekend. Alternatively, you can take a bus from the Bansko bus station that goes to and from the Vihren hut 3 times a day.
