If you’ve come across my blog before, you’ve probably noticed that I’m a passionate waterfalls enthusiast. If you have not been here, I admit it right now. My be you are also passionate about them, or at least a bit intrigued. And there is a reason – each waterfall looks different, has its own noise, way of movement and falling water. In addition, it has been scientifically proven that waterfalls have a beneficial effect on humans.
Some time ago I wrote an article about easily accessible waterfalls in Bulgaria. The current article is dedicated to the highest waterfalls in our beautiful country. I arranged them in descending order. Some of those waterfalls are quite difficult to reach, but this is so normal – they are champions.
Luckily for me, I have already visited the most of those highest waterfalls in Bulgaria and I have photos and personal impressions of them. The rest are in my wishlist and I hope to fill the gaps very soon.
You may find their names a bit strange and hard to pronounce, but they all origin from Bulgarian language.
