Today I will take you to a place in neighboring Romania, combining beautiful natural landscapes and pieces of a bit controversial history. This is the medieval fortress Enisala, located on a high hill in the Danube delta.

As usual, in December I respect the blog’s tradition to distinguish the most interesting sights in Bulgaria I have visited during the year. Take the list below as advise and wish for 2019!
Muratovo Lake in Pirin Mountains
Our main goal in this frosty winter day was the village of Arbanassi, but since we had long heard about Staro Stefanov’s charm, we decided it would be convenient to visit it also, because it was on the way. It was sunny, but extremely cold day, the village was so white, because of the snow, and so silent. Despite the fact it was noon, we did not see anyone on the streets.
My first visit in the town of Bansko happened almost 20 years ago. At that time the town was very small, and many of its current outskirts were pastures and meadows. Then I remembered two things: the enormous silhouette of Pirin Mountains as a beautiful background, throwing its shadow, and the imposing church of the Holy Trinity.
A lot of people have asked me what is to be a travel blogger or just blogger and what motivates me to do it. This is why I decided to share my thoughts, feelings and impressions as a travel blogger.
I am glad to share the fresh impressions of the weekend we have just spent in Bansko. The main goal was to climb the peaks of Muratov and Polezhan and at the same time to relax and pamper in some pleasant place with a good spa center for recharging the batteries.

During our recent visit in Warsaw, among a lot of places we saw, I was really impressed by the three royal palaces – so beautiful and well-settled. This is why I decided to devote a separate blog post about them.
We had the chance to visit the Warsaw royal palaces in their free days that were – Wednesday for the Royal Castle in Warsaw Old Town, and Thursday for the Wilanow and Lazienki palaces.
The Royal Castle in Warsaw Old Town
The Castle has a central location in the Old Town and served as a residence of Polish kings from the 16th to 18th centuries.

The island of Saint Anastasia in the Burgas Bay is not only an interesting place to visit near Burgas, but it is also a real sea experience. This was the first place we visited during our summer holiday. Here are the details.

Years ago, as a child, I spent 3 weeks in Poland at a school camp located mainly in the cities of Szczecin and Krakow. At that time, on the road we managed to afford a nice two hours walk in the Warsaw center. Still, I vaguely remembered the square in front of the Royal Castle and I really wanted to remind it and to explore a bigger part of the Polish capital.
My new visit to Warsaw have happened quite recently 🙂 . We visited the city a month ago on our way to Tallinn. We spent two days in Warsaw, quite enough to explore the city and the most interesting tourist sights in Warsaw. This article is dedicated to them.
