Why is Bari worth visiting

Bari, Italy, is a charming seaside town with a massive castle, an interesting historical center, two cathedrals and a lot of colors – ink blue from the sea, light blue from the azure sky, predominantly white and pale yellow in buildings and bright shades along the old streets.

17 amazing things to see in Warsaw, Poland

Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is a city of towers, palaces, panoramic views and a cozy Old Market. The article below is devoted to the most interesting things to see in Warsaw.

Years ago, as a child, I spent 3 weeks in Poland at a school camp located mainly in the cities of Szczecin and Krakow. At that time, on the road we managed to afford a nice two hours walk in the Warsaw center. Still, I vaguely remembered the square in front of the Royal Castle and I really wanted to remind it and to explore a bigger part of the Polish capital.

Two awesome day trips from Tallinn, Estonia

After I presented the main Tallinn sights , let me introduce you two exciting ideas for day trips from Tallinn in Estonia. Those routes are similar in a sense they both include an ancient castle and a waterfall … I adore waterfalls and each time I go anywhere I look for a waterfall 🙂 to visit, if any. The first route is east of Tallinn and includes the Rackere Castle and the Jagala waterfall. The second one is in the opposite direction – west of the Estonian capital – and includes the Keila Falls, the Medieval Monastery of Padise and the Haapsalu Castle.

A beautiful evening in Opatija

I really love the sea, the Black sea, perhaps because I live very far from it. I prefer it for my summer holiday. In the same time, I am quite interested in visiting other places, even for a while – to examine them, to feel the atmosphere there, and to compare.

Some time ago we had the opportunity to go to the coast of Croatia. We visited the cities Pula and Rijeka and stayed for an evening in Opatija – a pompous little coastal town on the Adriatic sea.

Let me take you there for a while. You may also like it.

Why is Pula, Croatia worth visiting: the top 6 sights you shouldn’t miss

Pula is a coastal city in Croatia remmarkable for its solid ancient Roman buildings that make it worth to visit. I admit I had not heard of the town until recently, but it happened to be one of our great findings when we were traveling from Bela Krajina, Slovenia, to Venice. We wanted to enrich our adventure a bit with some more places to see on the road, and Pula emerged as a promising ancient site with remains of Roman times. We were totally impressed by the information we found, and we decided to get there. We identified several places to visit and so we moved from plan to action.
